Okay, I had to work late and I’m pretty fucking beat. Since I didn’t go anywhere last night, I figure I should make some sort of an effort to go somewhere tonight. But it’s after one in the morning and I’m fucking tired...I think you know where this is leading, sorry to ruin your Saturday, Al, but it must be done. Oh I’m also going to scan in the “16 Beers” article and I’ll put it below tonight’s photos. I don’t know if you’ll be able to read it, but we shall see. New York and the rest of most of the country has been one big stinking steam bath, I'm hoping its cooled down a bit, let's go see.
Holy shitballs, it's hotter than a sack of stolen diamonds shoved up Satan's asshole out here! Let's get to some air conditioning pronto!

And here's some jackass pushing everyone out of his way as walks down the escalator. And there's stairs about two inches away. But at least this way we get a lovely look at his bald patch he's trying to hide with his dread locks. Lovely!
At least it's cool in here and we're getting close.

I slept in today and just found out she died. Say what you will about her personal life, she was a great singer, songwriter and musician.

"I'M MELTING.....MELLLTING..." - The Wicked Witch of the West. You've got my heat wave sympathies, Marty. My house was a damned blast furnace all last week. Any iced beverage had to be drunk within five minutes, or it would wind up like warm dishwater. No relief even at midnight, it was still 90 degrees with dewpoints in the eighties. Jesus.

'sweet sixteen" article and what a read it was/is!..."stoplights on amphetamines" (made me wonder what the 'golights' were like?) and i now wonder if you ever bought that "dress and high heels"...there were a couple others but my poor "rutgut" soaked mind feels like i've done 16 after only 3 or 4 "45s"...thanks for postin' this fossil...thanks!...

@Al: Yeah, Johnny's was on the 365 crawl, bar number 78. The Amy Winehouse news bummed me out too. I had hoped she would clean up her act and make a new album. It's funny, last night I was watching some interviews with the Rolling Stones and Mick Jagger said that some people just can't handle fame and that Brian Jones was one of them. I think the same was true for Amy Winehouse.

I have yet to experience weather too hot to drink a cold beer, but I suppose it's possible! I get a little chuckle when you mock the texters since I read this blog mostly on my iPhone. Maybe that's what they are doing! ;)
