We now interrupt Cheeseburger Saturday Night to bring you the following holiday presentation!

Okay, we’ve got a little Christmas party brewing at the Chillmaster’s and then we’re heading to The Roseland Ballroom where Shawn told us about an event called, The Rhythm Revue Dance Party. So, let’s get going...why the fuck not?

There he is, in the infamous window, The Chillmaster!

The Chillmaster and I are inside, drinking beer and waiting for the other guests to arrive.

And here's Victoria being greeted by the Chillmaster.

Close up of Victoria!

Chillin' like villains!

The Chillmaster table is all set up.

And here's Shawn...

And Lindsay, okay, I think the crew for tonight is all here.

Let the party begin!

There's Gumby on top of the Hennessy.

And Shawn busts a move!

Victoria dons the famous Chillmaster fur hat.

And a few minutes later the Chillmaster places it on Lindsay's noggin.

It's the warmest hat in the world!

And just like that, we're in a cab headed for midtown. Shawn suggested we check out a soul revue that's hosted in The Roseland Ballroom.

And here we are deep in the heart of midtown, steps away from the Roseland Ballroom.

Inside there's a nice bar area.

The Chillmaster shares a laugh with the bartender.

Okay, we have our drinks, time to check this place out.

There's a huge dance floor here. The music is classic soul with a little 70's disco thrown in. What I like is it's not played at a crazy loud level, you can enjoy the music and still talk to people. Great choice by Shawn!

There's a big video screen showing classic Soul Train clips and assorted soul videos.

Dance Party!

Here's a festive couple out on the dance floor.

There's plenty of tables on the perimeter...

But I prefer to check out the action on the dance floor.

Chillmaster, Lindsay and Shawn are sharing a laugh and a dance.

Chilling and watching the action.

And to prove that some white guys just can't dance, here I am with Lindsay on the dance floor as Chillmaster snaps the photo.

And the last drink for me of the evening, i was operating on about three hours of sleep and was the first to leave. Shawn, Lindsay and The Chillmaster stayed and partied on. A great night and thanks to everyone for hanging out! Goodnight everybody and see you tomorrow after dark!

Tonight I’m heading out with the Chillmaster for a few drinks at the International Bar. Four words says it all, “Why the fuck not?”

Another rainy, chilly-ass night in New York. This weather has been rotten lately. I think I'd prefer snow.

Okay, through the magic of the internet you're spared a subway ride that was a lot drier than it is here in the East Village. Let's get to the Chillmaster's, I'm wet outside and dry on the inside.

At first I was a little worried when I saw the Chillmaster window closed, but a quick knock and...

I'm inside with the Chillmaster who is well stocked for the night. We have a few pre-International Hennesy's...

And then it's time to hit the road.

It's cold out, so Gumby's got the fur action going on.

After a cold and rainy walk up 1st Avenue, we finally make it to the International Bar.

Ahh, it's great in here, one of the darkest bars in town.

And Eric was there at the bar. We got drinks and relocated up to the front window seats.

Three stooges at International Bar.

The windows were steaming up from the cold and Eddie the doorman was drawing something on the front door.

I'm going to title this: "How much is that doggie in the window?"

Meanwhile Eric and the Chillmaster are hanging back in our area of the bar.

The Chillmaster points out we've got our own blank canvas of a window.

And this is our message for this Thursday: "Chill!" Goodnight and see you tomorrow after dark.

Cardboard Box Man Mutation Sighting by Spike!

Spike sent in this latest CBBM mutation sighting along with the following words of wisdom: "Bathroom at boom boom room in standard hotel (work event I swear!).  He's kinda goofy looking, maybe hoping we will drop our guard.  Never I say!  We must always be vigilant!" I agree! Thanks, Spike!

Okay, tomorrow’s a holiday, so that can only mean one thing: Chillmaster Road Trip Party To Coney Island!

And we're off. We're all meeting at the Chillmaster's place and then taking the subway out to Coney Island for the day and evening. It should be a lot of fun.

Here we are at the Chillmaster window, but the Chill Chair is empty.

Here he is, walking around the block with Victoria. Let the party begin!

Inside the Chilmaster Lair, having a drink or two and chilling out till everyone arrives.

And pretty soon, everyone has shown up. The party included: Goggla, Ed, Shawn, Lindsay, Eric, Kate, Victoria and of course, The Chillmaster. Time to hit the road and take the subway to Coney Island. This is the end of the captions, as I have a lot of photos to post and they pretty much all tell their own story. Thanks to everyone for coming along. It was a great day and evening of chilling the fuck out in Coney Island!

Thanks to everyone for coming along and making the day and evening a ton of fun! Goodnight everybody and see you tomorrow after dark.

(Above photo by Goggla.)

Today is Sunday and a special day. The day can be summed up in four words: Chillmaster Dance Party Two! (If you missed the first one, check it out: Chillmaster Dance Party One.)

We're all going to meet at the Mars Bar as we did last time. I wonder if we'll be able to meet here for the third one? Sadly, that's doubtful, but time will tell. There's the owner Hank seated out front as usual, I've got a present for him...

It's a poster of the collage I did for the art show at Mars Bar the other week.

And here we are inside Mars. Where is everybody?

There's Lindsay and Shawn, right behind me.

And pretty soon the whole group is assembled. From left, Shawn, Yours Fooly, Lindsay, Ray, Goggla and Eric. Time to head to the Chillmaster's and get this party going!

And here we are at the famous Chillmaster window...but wait a second, that's not the Chillmaster...

It's Chillmaster's son, Chillmaster, Jr. He explained that Chillmaster had to run out for a minute, but we were welcome to go in and wait till he got back. So that's exactly what we did.

An empty Chillmaster chair. Now that's one sad sight!

A couple late additions to the party were Bob...

And Eden A.K.A. Slum Goddess who's taking a picture of Bob. Eden sings and plays in Eden & John's East River String Band. Check them out here and buy a CD or two.

And here he is, the Chillmaster himself! The Hennessy is poured...(Above photo by Goggla.)

And the chilling begins.

I brought the Chillmaster a baby Jesus candle, he lights it up...

And into the window it goes.

Part of the fun of hanging out at the Chillmaster's is watching the world go by his window.

People look in...

And they almost always smile!

Another late addition is Kate, who's chilling with the Chillmaster.

Even Gumby is chilling the fuck out.

This is a Chillmaster DANCE party, so the Chillmaster points the remote control...

And sweet soul music is blaring out of the massive Chillmaster sound system. Everybody dance now!

Here's Lily, the Chillmaster's pretty neighbor, she immediately got into the groove.

Lily, Lindsay and Goggla chill out on the couch.

Night's fallen and the party is winding down.

This man gives his regards to the Chillmaster from out in the street.

Empty bottles and glasses are the sign of the end of another successful Chillmaster Dance Party. See you tomorrow after dark.

When you enter the Chillmaster Lair all cares and worries are checked at the door as you enter a world of soul music blasted at deafening levels while watching the world parade by outside on the sidewalk throught the Chillmaster window. It’s a glorious time where inhibitions are dropped and life becomes one big why the fuck not?

Thanks to the Chillmaster for throwing another great Dance party and for all the fellow Chillers for showing up.

And thanks to EV Grieve for a wonderful blog and the post that started this whole thing!
